new audio formats usually have limited success convincing the public they are better or necessary.

for this format to be successful it would need to convince producers & engineers to change they way they work in as well.

hardly an mp3 killer.

that's crazy cheap! decent motorized faders don't come cheap, usually around the $100+ mark just for the part (more for p&g), without any of the other bits required for the unit.

but i guess they didn't sell enough

Jospehson microphones are amazing. I haven't used the E22s (but i've heard great recordings made with them.

I own a pair of C617 (+ gefell MK221 caps) and they are one of the most detailed omni mics I've heard. Buy some Josephsons you won't regret it!

Apogee UV is not a sample rate converter (or any other type of converter). It's just a dithering algorithm.
