Re: THE THREAD ABOUT NOTHINK!

You asked:
what is your favourite colour?
Lisa says:
Colours are not very meaningful to me as I can only see them in code. If you insist, though, I guess my favourite has to be #ac0011. A really nice deep shade of red.

hmmm yeah i think the reviewer is a little rough when I think about it - i think the movie definitely is smart, but i think the word deft is appropriate. its definitely clever, and you need to be switched on to get it - but i do get the sentiment that its not that deep or mindbending

Re: The Movie/Film/DVD thread...

i agreed with this quote in that article... I think Inception is mind-tickling but not mind-blowing. Good but not great. Some interesting ideas are suggested by Mr. Nolan, who seems unable to fully explore the psychological and (especially) emotional depth of these issues: for example, memes (which ...

Re: The Movie/Film/DVD thread...

I liked it quite a lot. Wasn't blown away, perhaps my expectations were too high. Didn't find the plot as intriguiing as I hoped, and found the acting and dialogue (apart from caine) a bit remote / script reading-y

great visual concepts though, loved the hotel stuff
