Smooth edge is a bitch to get up in old floor, most of our tacs were rusted and shitty. I just ended up pulling as many out as I could and hit the rest in so the sander could go over them. in seriousness we're pulling up carpet, and i'm struggling to get the smooth edges off the stairs. we need to get this all done by next monday, as the floors are getting sanded and polished. Also struggling to decide on colours for painting. We're debating greys, dark greens and reds thru the house....
