Again I recommend credit unions (of which I am a happy customer) or community banks like Bendigo Bank. If you don't like what the banks do, don't give them your money.

Re: Men at Work get sued for Land Downunder

Kookaburra was written in 1934. Larrikin Music Publishing acquired the rights to Kookaburra in 1990 and only discovered Down Under's use of Kookaburra in 2007.

I sympathise with Larrikin about as much as I would with a bank asking for a bailout.

Also, even though the monome is much better, they're expensive and almost impossible to get ahold of unless you want to build your own. You can walk into any music store today and walk out with a Launchpad for around $250 or so.

Re: After the war on drugs...

It's ok, I have no economics training either. I'm not sure about taxes, to be honest. But it's widely held that many decriminalisation measures, such as introducing prescribed programs for registered addicts, would hugely reduce the profitability of drugs. I mention the story here because I think it...

At the end, she asked the group what would concer...

This is shaping up to be quite a day. We're becoming something of an army, albeit a peace-loving, public transport using, pant-doffing army.

Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney are all ready to ride. Can Melbourne show them what we're made of?
