KL's alright imo. We stayed at the Shangri La and it was pretty bloody nice mind though it was a bit expensive but just depends if your after backpackers style or a nice hotel. Go to the twin towers shopping centre it was bloody big. Also the markets in chinatown are great but beware of the hasslers...
