hey re discussion about about costs of local books... i thought the reason it was exxy here was tarrifs / restrictions put in place by the gubbermint to ensure local printing jobs? moreso than economies of scale... a year ago labor were looking at removing these restrictions, there was lots of argum...

saw the hubble movie at imax

needed more space stars and stuff but still was pretty good

awesome end bit with web of galaxies

i find 3d shots of people/normal scenes too busy with depth of field - distracting and too much time focusing on the 3d aspect. seems to suit CGI much more

a clause on the sale doesn't change the noise protections under law unfortunately. the live music taskforce committed to implementing the 'agent of change' concept, makign noise assessment and control the job of the developer. its the only way. You would have to look at how well that was implemented

its a risk - im leaving the country at end of month, and standard USPS will likely take 2-3 weeks, but might be more....

so going for the premium USPS makes sense - wouldn't do fedex (around 35) as they likely charge for the passage through customs...

looking at nupowers from the states, $100 plus around $40 for fast shipping. reputable and still cheaper than $200 here for a mac battery....

i read that the originoal cut for event horizon was a lot more 'suspense' than 'horror' (changed due to precreening feedback) - a sort of the shining in space... it turned out pretty b grade but it would have been good to see it in its intended form
