With just over 6 weeks til fire-aid we need to get volunteers sorted for the gig...

Been a 24hr gig, we need @ least 18 people to man(or woman!) the door.

Also we need dj's... So dj's that want to play, check you're diarys! We would love to have a set-list drafted in the next couple of weeks.

Thank-you to the dj's that have already given the go a head (cammo, ac23, timmy g to name a few). Can't guarantee that everyone will have a chance to play, but we'll try our best! Trying to cover every genre...

If you could pm with what you'd like to do to help, that would be ace!

Remember its not just dj's and door-staff we need... There's plenty of other jobs! If you know people in high places, start busting balls to make this the best gig Melbournebeats.com has ever done! This is a combined effort of all of us, not just a few people. Lets start helping each other to help our beautiul state!

24 hours and 3 rooms means alot of sets to fill

I need to play at least once this year to still be considered a DJ

I have a slight dilemma though. I have no car, I live in the sticks and records are heavy

I might be able to convince the boy to give me a lift, so perhaps a daytime shift if there's one available.

looking throught that list doesn't look like anyone would get wasted. Personally i never get trashed.

Any time that is within an hour or so from my set time.

so there is 24 hours and 15 peeps which could be 1 an half hour shifts or 3 hour shifts with two peeps on for company.

divide and conquer Gnatty.

i should be there for most of it.

put tara and I on for a 3 hour shift at the same time, preferably something like 9pm-midnight on the saturday or 3pm-6pm on the sunday.

if the time is free can i have sunday arvo shift 12 till 3pm is preferred but if too many people are requesting the same shift, i don't really mind.

My B/friend will be happy to keep me company if you need an extra, and he can double as security.
