Hiya crew,

It would be awesome if we could have a meeting this week and discuss all the last minute things before they all sneak up on us.

Would love to have input from everyone, so if you can help in any way or would like to help in any way over the next few weeks then please come to the meeting.

We need to cover things like which promo hasn't been sorted out already, teams to put up posters in shops & cafes, time-slots for acts that haven't been covered, filling the door roster, donations required that we'd like to get and anything else you can think of.

Thursday night is probably the only time it can be done though (tomorrow is too soon and Wednesday is Valentines Day)

So, if you can make it to Miss Libertine at 6pm this Thursday that'd be wicked!

The following things came out of last night's meeting:

Media Coverage:
Mx is going to do a story and pic. They want us to think of ideas for a photo- something that conveys our message and is not lame- something to include the music and the wildlife perhaps.

Get your ideas up on this thread ASAP, sooner the better

Maintenance of MySpace- needs to be maintained daily until gig so all the info is fresh.

Stormer, Snowie, can you guys confirm that you can take this up?

Promoting on other forums:
There's a thread up on ITM which has had a lukewarm reception thus far.

Log in and keep this bitch up there kids- keep it fresh as acts are added and talk it up- we're good at that here

If you post on any other forums, get it up there also

Huge, can you put it up on yours?- there will be dubstep, yes there will be dubstep..

I've sent you an email but I jumped the gun a bit and just attatched a bunch of stuff I thought you'd need.

I'll email Dave Valuetime and see if he can do the banners for it.

with the banners my advice is to keep the messaging simple ... we have 15 seconds of time (each loop must be 15 seconds and we're limited to 1) so I think the vitals are necessary based on my experience

Too many people ram too much info into their online banners (like they do with street press) ... but simple works best.

This should get some great wide awareness ... myspace has 2.45m unique users ... about 600,000 of which are in melbourne ... we can probably intercept half of them with this campaign
