I'm already copping flak for the Jeff Buckley gag. Knew it was a sacred cow for many people, but it had to be done.

Elvis is unavailable I think... the booking agent boasts he can do 400 gigs at the same time around the world but they all seem to be booked up.

We're 4pm-midnight.

Really? We usually get pretty good results out of the Workshop rig so we stick with it. Perhaps I'll show you some of my nifty tricks.

yeah no complaints on the workshop CD-Js... though others have complained, and also I'm not a real DJ so I play with what's given to me.

you haven't been bumped, he will simply be mixing swing back to back with your cheesy hits from the 80s.

and here's an amazing mixing tip: Mix old Metallica with orchestral stuff over the choruses. Simply brilliant. If I have the nerve I will try Blackened at Off Beat, which will guarantee a 0 crowd.

Awesome chilled evening with a great Sunday night vibe. Just what I needed after a big Saturday.

Ides is always a pleasure to listen to (The Doors!) and Tigga and Blake dropped some bass-heavy phatness.

Thanks for the beer Mr Sea. :smt023

What a lovely way to finish off the weekend that was.

Loved Ides tunage - girl you always get the mood right! And enjoyed what I heard of Tigga and Co.

Still can't believe I was able to leave the house and attend this event.

Biggups to Mij and Rose for getting us out of the house.
Free to those that can afford it, very expensive to those that can't.

Glad to finally get my ass down to Off Beat and have a look at workshop! Rather nice place there... love the outdoorsy garden greenhouse thing.
The artwork in the place was awesome, look forward to heading to the opening of the ehibition tomoz nyt.....

ulyssian - it's good to keep up on girl chatter. And participating in the lip gloss ceremony was quite exciting.
