Just got back, solid weekend, good times
Bassnectar the highlight for me, utter messiness on the market stage
Sooooo much dubstep got rinsed this year which was cool, by the likes of Western Synthetics, Bass Bin Laden and heaps of the chill stage dj's
Dave Pham smashed it as always

Man what a messy 4 days! Couldn't find any of you lot down at bassnectar's first set unfortunately. His set on the main stage was the best set i've ever seen at rainbow!

Just relentless dubstep rinse out! The crowd loved it! Expect even more dubstep at rainbow next year IMO. Went down so well. Dave pham was great as always. Bass bin laden was wicked. Didn't see that much else. Damn cubes! Feelin the pain now!

messy is about right, got there at like 11.30pm friday night, went real hard (stomping in the rain, with help from crazy israeli man and his vial) and only slept the next day at 5pm for a few hours only to get up for the mainstage action

sunday arvo market stage was abolutely awesome. can't really describe it. dancing barefoot in the wet dirt from the water hose and getting sprayed by the sprinklers with 100% awesome people.... bit of house, dirty bangin' fidget, breaks, dubstep, doesn't get much better

just got back....

so awesome, every year it never fails to be the best weekend of the year... next year will be 8 in a row for me.

Highlights: Urban Monkeys, Beckers, Mathew Jonson, Dave Pham, Punkzonjunk, Mushies, Tabs, Liquid, DMT, Beer, Beer, Beer, Vodka, Mushies, Vodka, Beer...

Every single person that I spoke to who was there for their first rainbow SWORE that they'll be back next year because it is such an amazing experience... this is not just some hippie festival, it's so much more... a life enhancing experience...

I slept 7hrs a night on average and ate some great food... best way to enjoy the festival...

what a wicked party!! had some virgins in our campsite too, hilarious rock dudes on first acid trips, catch phrase for the weekend was 'IVE NEVER BEEN TO A DOOF BEFORE' said with popping eyes...hilarity.

i camped in the badlands but had crews all over, much hanging at sites and basically trucked about on my own finding fun people to laugh at/with and tunes and shade...

BEST t-shirt award goes to 'WHERE THE FUCK IS SPIRO"

everyone in fine form and tropical gear, yes to the misters on market stage, needs misters on the main stage too cos i nearly died for
d nox and beckers midday sunday but DAMN they were good...

deadbeat!! fucking cool. pissed i missed ghetta funkt, heard she was awesomne, funky dubstep and other stuff etc...did anyone catch her? apparently shes from up north...one to watch...

nice set from matthew jonson too, but i must admit i did get a tad bored with the tunes and wandered off a few times..

official figures mean they had over 11,000 punters guys. FUCK EARTHCORE, rainbow is the best outdoor party in OZ now, hands down.

they only planned for 8,000 punters hence the only problem with the festival was a pretty long wait in the sun for toilets, but bigups to ranibow for composting toilets, which are fuckin fine if maintained properly and really good for reducing water emissions.

rainbow has also donated two whole fire trucks to the CFA up there, beaufort is gonna be a permanent local for this festy...

this year was the most diverse musical lineup ive ever seen at ranibow, and i think this is number ten or so for me...NOT ALL PSY TRANCE!! YAYS!
so dont hesitate next year guys, take a week off work after wards (i could not do that this year and i am paying for it)
buy your ticket early, leave your pre conceived notions of 'hippy festivals' behind and come stomp in the dirt with us!!!

it's funny... i just got back from Thailand less than a week earlier... and i think i had more fun, or at least, as much fun at rainbow than the 10 days in Thailand.

Where ever I live, or where ever I am, I will ALWAYS make it to rainbow EVERY YEAR!!!

Wish I was still there...
