We did it quiet styles last NY's... will definately be doing it again.

I hate crowds and overpriced everything.

Stock up on quality food and grog, and then hit other quality substances and stay in.

We took Bubbles and food, got a great spot at the Shrine and saw all the fireworks - away from all the crowds and crap, and it was freeeeee

we had a quiet one, was nice for a change, and NYD (our anniversary) we spent the first one ever jsut the two of us at a restaurant....

Very nice Charlie girl.

I don't think I'll EVER do the festival/rave/big gig thing again, particularly at NYE/NYD.

Too many wastoids, too many people fullstop, overpriced tickets and booze, dirty stankin' toilets with massive queues, lack of P/T and taxis, and too many cops these days... nah, been there done that. Not for me.

Not for this grumpy old man and his missus.

Thats why there's no outdoor dnb/reggae/dub parties in aussie cause the scene here is way too metro/city slickerish. NZ can do it. Why cant it b done here?

Cubist is da only one I've known to put on a (DNB et al) NYE party (in da last coupla years at least)
Outdoors would be ace.... find the space my friend.....
There's a mean hill on the outskirts of Melb with a view of the city.... generator..... speakers, free view of fireworks....
*wish*
