I've had a hankering for some DnB action and this looks perfect (except for the venue, of course).

Pencilled in.

^ I guess it being a dnb gig, the crappy prince element should be missing but how do you figure it's the best venue?

I find Prince (as long as it is a event dedicated crowd) the best for intimate events that draw biggish crowds and have a particular vibe. Like Bukem, best at Prince IMO.

Saw Marky at Espy (was it?) and thought that was good too, had that hanging from the rafters vibe. Saw him play at Audio in Brighton (uk) too and that was insane, small venue filled with Brazilians and had an intimate vibe. Since then always thought he works best in a venue which feels like the crowd is upfront. ie- not hifi or brown alley etc.

Yeh I missed Marky last time <grumble grumble>

Prince is ghey tho. Worst venue in melbourne, regardless of crowd, regardless act. Altho I did enjoy Trentemoller there. Thats it tho, everything esle was ghey.

Hyped for this one. I have converted so many people with this man. Any word on Stamina as well?

I'm quite surprised that people don't like the POW. It's a nice venue with a decent balcony and usually good sound. I have many fond absent memories from 33&1/3s past.

Marky at the Prince about 5 years ago converted me to DnB. Enough said. People were fucking crowd surfing!! At a DnB gig!!! Out of control. Probably still to date the most energetic, feel good dnb gig I've been to.

By some crazy act of god I have class on the next day, but the more I think about it, the more I think: fuck it, I'm going to Marky.

P.S. If London Electricity plays too I'm there for sure.

P.P.S. Prince rocks - good choice of venue for this man.

I prefer a dance floor with room to boogie (old man syndrome, I guess) but I can't deny it's fun to see a crowd go nuts.

I'm gonna have trouble convincing crew to give the prince another go, though :?

I'm with QR. I want my space, some people enjoy the moshy kind of packed dance floor but not me.

2m sqr at least for each individual pls.

Sick lineup. Lose the MCs and it would be perfect.

I don't think the following deductive argument is sound:

P1 Stamina is not listed on the lineup
P2 Whenever someone is not listed on the lineup they are definitely not playing
C Stamina is definitely not playing

As you can see, premise 2 is incorrect.

could be a late announcement. could have been accidentally left off. could be implied since they've been playing together for years.

just thought it best to check for sure. some of us don't keep up with all the latest dnb goss about who's still mcing for who.

He's the only MC based in Oz that can add anything to this gig imo.

Gutted I'm going to miss this. Absolutely gutted.

In one sentence you made me very sad, then very happy.
Thinking I'd missed out, myself not really being able to afford $50 tickets, I thought I'd check the link out anyway, and it seems they haven't updated the site yet so early birds are still available for those of you who are poor and slow to act like myself.

I don't really understand how the etickets work, but hey as long as they get me in for $38 I'm happy.

Also if anyone else has troubles with the 'eticket' link on the main page right click and go open in new window.

Cheers guys, should be a sick night.
Hopefully some guy pisses Marky off again and gets his arse booted.
(I still don't know what that guy did, but damn Conrad was pissed.)
(Edit: my bad that was Bukem)
