We're launching our Monthly Residency @ My Aeon on Friday March 1st
with some of the best Neuro Hop, Dubstep, Glitch & Breaks Melbourne has to offer..

Featuring:

STICKYBUDS!
http://soundcloud.com/stickybuds
From the funkafied west coast of Canada, Stickybuds has been making his mark on music all over the globe. In the last few years he’s found himself performing in 14 different countries, captivating fans wherever he goes. His work ethic and passion have also earned him a residency at Canada’s Shambhala music festival (2005 – 2012), as well as performances at Glastonbury (UK), Splore Festival (NZ), Burning Man (USA) and the legendary Space club in Ibiza (ES).
With 20 releases on multiple labels, Sticky loves to create and play dance floor friendly music of many different tempo’s. His sets are filled with Funk, DNB, Glitch Hop, Reggae and Breaks all intricately woven through countless hours in the studio.

Mustard Tiger
http://soundcloud.com/mustard-tiger-3
Mustard Tiger is the Glitch Hop project of Algernon Renton. Always busy with several projects, Alge is one half of the midtempo duo STAUNCH with James Hayes AKA Shadow FX, as well as previous projects such as Positive Thought and Jeremy Pritchard. Mustard Tiger is the perfect accompaniment to any meal, in a jar or in a convenient squeezey bottle - Mustard Tiger will deliver the roar flavour.

Goosebumpz
http://soundcloud.com/goosebumpz
Based in Melbourne, Goosebumpz has become a driving force within the Australian electronic music scene and as a result, is a regular fixture at many reputable outdoor dance parties, festivals and club gigs nationwide. These days, he’s shifting air and inciting dance floor mayhem with a free-range exploration of broken-beat styles, where funky, playful glitch-hop and squelchy, psychedelic dubstep meets staunch mid-tempo breaks. His live performances are intelligently arranged yet still very interactive, with tasteful layering and effects, room for improvisation and seamless transitions between different tracks and musical styles, collectively creating new and exciting, danceable grooves

Shifty Sly
http://soundcloud.com/shiftysly
Shifty Sly has been smashing dancefloors in Melbourne for over 9 years now with his tough upfront Bassline Beats and Breaks. Shifty prefers his sounds on the harder darker edge but is just as comfortable scratching and looping out a chilled downbeat jazzy cafe set if that's what's required. Shifty takes pride in having a record collection vast enough to walk into any club at anytime and play an appropriate set but will be at his best at 4am smashing it so hard your nose will bleed......

Angus Green
http://soundcloud.com/agreen
Built on an overwhelming urge to listen to as much music as possible, and to dance to it like Elvis on roids, Angus Green sets the mood then leaves crowds gasping for breath through his unique and diverse sounds. From grinding dubstep and funk driven mid-tempo bass, ranging along to melodic adventures and rhythmic delights your ears will experience dance music drawing on a large mixed bag of influences including reggae, soul, funk, hip hop, techno and more.
Be prepared for something new every time, but keep your ears 'peeled' for that Green sound!

Kodiak Kid
http://soundcloud.com/djkodiakkid
Corey Purczeld aka Kodiak Kid has been bringing the broken beats in the Melbourne underground scene since his fingers could keep up with his vehemence. Born and bred in the Victorian capitol city, his startling proficiency with a set of turntables and a few slabs of wax saw him instantly recognised as worthy of supporting nationally and internationally renowned artists alike in his own back yard, rocking crowds on behalf of some of Melbourne's most prestigious purveyors of Drum and Bass, Glitch Hop, Hip Hop and Dubstep.

binliner
http://hopskotch.bandcamp.com/album/fresh-from-the-bin
binliner is the musical tag of the affable Oskr Wyldkat.
His love affair with electronic music stretches back more than a decade, through several cities and scenes that have since died out. Drawing influence from wide array of sources like Warp Records, Bloody Fist, Kompakt, System Corrupt, DHR, Spiral Tribe, Clan Analogue, Oizo, Ed Banger, minimal, acid, jungle, grime… "Fresh From the Bin" is the first step in Oskr's voyage into production, trashing contemporary influence and the cult of perfection with old fashioned ghetto soundfuckery held together with duct tape and played through broken valve amp.
