WARPA!NT (HOPSKOTCH RECORDS)
Warpaint’s (aka. Sebastian Elkner’s) music carrier began in earnest in 2006 producing for and emceeing with (now defunct) Melbourne hip-hop outfit The Contrast, since then he has also produced beats for Sklang!, Threat Level Orange and most of the upcoming album from Inkstain Pro. His music draws upon influences from many different sources including Jazz, Hiphop, DnB, Glitch, Dub, Dubstep and Blues just to name a few. His debut EP "Burn City Steppa Volume 1" is a fresh, minimalist arrangement of deep spacial dubstep heavily influenced by the original London future garage sound. Featuring a guest appearance by Melbourne's Dyzlexic CM on the opening track "Beddageddabeddabeat" Dyz's rolling flows move smoothly, taking things back to the origins garage style.

Fluent as a DJ, studio producer, drummer and live sound engineer, for John Clayton aka Hooves, music has been a lifelong engagement. Based in Melbourne, Australia, the native New Zealander worked his way through the genres of funk, soul, jazz, hip-hop and heavy metal, before diving deep into the drum and bass scene in the mid 2000s.
Since then Hooves has released several 12" singles on drum and bass labels oBSEsessions and State of Mind Music, remixed for Pitch Black and Benny Tones, and collaborated on songs with the likes of TREi, State Of Mind and Borderline. Alongside this he serves as drummer to iconic live New Zealand act Shapeshifter, and handles live sound for a multitude of acts across Australia. Throughout these works he's developed a reputation for widescreen production, iron clad rhythms, challenging melodies, heavyweight bass line pressure and massive sonic fidelity.

In every piece there is a constant expansion and recombining of styles and genres to create a unique and maliable audio experience that makes every piece of music a new world unto itself. As a composer and sound designer Ghostsoul is always looking to expand his knowledge of compositional ideas and techniques in an effort to constantly create something new that still holds true to his love for dub classical and electronic music. Inkstain Pro is a Hip Hop project conduced by Link McElvenny. Link has been performing hip hop and spoken word for over 6 years. With acts such as: The Squid Squad, The High Society, Toljah, SKLANG, TRS and The Contrazt.
With an esoteric bent and an articulate flow, Link's lyrics resonate with those who share a similar experience. Always changing and experimenting with his style and the kind of beats he flows over. Keeping each project he works on unique and interesting.
