Ok, needed another housemate! Got one going back to London. We are 2 blokes (I'm 24, other is 30, going on 24).

We're in a apartment/townhouse thing in Brunswick, just off Sydney rd. It's about 2 years old and has a full lockup garage with space for 1 car, which none of us have. It's a fucking sweet pad to be honest, excellent for having the odd BBQ on the balcony and even a cheeky back-to-mine every now and again. Garage is on ground floor, kitchen/open-plan lounge on the middle and all the bedrooms up top.

The room isnt massive, but its been able to serve our departing housemate quite well. Built-in 'robe and shared balcony with plenty of room.

What we're after is someone with a no problems paying rent (approx ~650-700 have to check with leaving housemate) no problems with occasional tunage as we both mix.
Doesn't mind rugs, but no rug fiends.

We are needing to have someone before the end of March, which I know is short notice. But I thought the mbc crew might be keen.

PM me, or otherwise hit me up another way if you know me ;)

fucking good on you squirrel. do it!

best time ever to travel now with cheap flights etc, there seriously may become a point in the not too distant future when planes are grounded due to environmental reasons for most of us, apart from only the very wealthy!

I'm looking for an apartment in the city, and some dirty assholes are trying to scam house owners.

Basically it works like this: http://consumerist.com/5053894/beware-o ... t-scammers

Thing is, they're not offering them all that much cheaper really - $250 - $350

Dirty fucking c*nts... wasting my time when I could have been applying for real apartments.

2 rooms or potentialy a 3 bedroom house for rent, located in Bendigo st Prahran, just behind Chapel street near the skate ramp/basketball courts.
Big rooms, floor boards, modern bathroom, big kitchen.
Think its about $2,000 pcm total but will confirm in next few hours.
Wicked location!! Close to chapel st, Prahran pools, and very easy to get a park. 12 meters from the pub.

Edwardian style house, rent is $670 per month each, 3 massive bedrooms, can easily fit queen/king bed, wardrobe, couch. No BIRs. Lease until July 2010.

Big backyard, great for summer and entertaining, with lots of space in open living room/dining room for own furniture/dining table/TV. Modern bathroom with a good shower. Lots of cupboard space in kitchen, no dishwasher but there are laundry facilities and a storage room on the premises. Neighbours are nice

Hey everyone :D

We are looking for a third person to find a share house with in the next few weeks (hopefully).
Will be looking for a place in St Kilda and surrounding areas, preferably closish to beach and near train stations/public transport.

We would prefer a guy in full-time employment (to increase chances of getting house on application); aged early 20s to early 30s; who likes to party (but keeps it real).

We are 2 females who love music, drinking and going to gigs (but will always be respectful flatties), and looking for someone who we can hang out with, have bbqs with etc.

If you are that person or know a friend who knows a friend please pm me as soon as possible.
We would like to chat to and meet up with anyone who is interested, and then go from there.

Cheers! :D :D

Still searching for new digs.
Looks like the councils are getting their way on the crusade to shut down warehouses so I'm keen to find a house/ apartment near the Upfield Train line or general vicinity of Brunswick/ Coburg.

Also on the hunt for a room. Not too fussy whereabouts as long as its close to public transport. I work Mon-fr and am usually out and about during weekends but after a music freindly house with good peeps. Can move in ASAP. Anyone in the know, let me know. Cheers!
