Brunswick Bound :: A new bookshop for the northside!

Post by lilstormer »

Calling all northsiders who like a read!

Check out your latest and greatest bookshop:

Brunswick Bound
361 Sydney Road.

they sell all sortsa great books, some music and music mags, amongst othr things. It's a great shop with one of the best sales counters you will ever see (not telling you have to see for yourselves!)

Plus it's run by Rob (quiet roar) and Susie, they're fantastic, their shop is fantastic.

check it!
Free to those that can afford it, very expensive to those that can't.

Thanks Stormer!

It's not just for northsiders though; we happily serve all denominations
;)

Only open three days but it's been fun so far: It's cool having a gig where you get chat to folks most of the day so by all means come and pay us a visit. It's still very much a work in progress so improvement suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for the feedback, bRb and Gnat. I must admit, the feedback overall has been really positive.

Big thanks must go to mij for a ridiculous amount of help; stormer, brain, little evil, GM and everyone else that has assisted in getting this up and running.

It's a great place for buying presents. Bought the autobiography of an old Melbourne jazz man for my dad there on Saturday. And bought John Birmingham's Dopeland as a present for me.

LOL I was waiting for that!

Drove past Brunswick Bound the other day and had to ask the question
if it was a book binder or a book store. My girlfriend will go nuts, she loves
a good read and has worked in more than a few book stores in her life.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that Mr. John Stinson is the
Don as far as book binding is concerned. Attention to detail is second to none...

NONE I TELL YOU!

Stormer's right, the hours are roughly 10 to 6, though tonight I did have Andy the T-shirt guy over, playing his Bahaus, Bela Lugosi's dead, 12" at 6.30 so we didn't really close until 7 :D

Still the best book shop ever in the history of bookshops.

Music (both vinyl and CDs) is awesome as well

And the fifties Japanese samurai movies rock

The porn is top notch as well
