1-day, zazz, catch of the day etc

Post by Friday »

i'm TOTALLY addicted to Zazz and Catch Of The Day...

http://www.zazz.com.au/
http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/
http://www.1-day.com.au/

Cheap(er) gadgets and strange things on sale for one day only. I think it's a clever psychological thing - i check it each morning first thing to see what it is. Where as I often wouldn't be interested in the things they sometimes sell if they were on a normal shopping website.

I always LOL at Zazz' descriptions too.

Anyone else a sucker for them?

Got any other sites like these I can check and get addicted to?

I wasn't addicted as not every piece of software was useful. Although it was 100% free for the taking.

nah this is different.

It's called "electronic gadget enquiry phenomenon" for example, my girlfriend can look at jeans and shit on ebay, and I'll mock her.....

Give me the latest DSE catalogue however, and I can't put it down, it's like reading a novel!!!! It just "captures" your attention...

Something from overseas, like chemical records catalogue, forget about it!!! I'm not moving for an hour!!! "ooh, that cheap!" and I don't even NEED the item!!!!

hmmm?

keep me away from those sites

I'm the worst impulse buyer, I'd end up with a room full of gadgets I don't really need and an empty (or emptier) bank account

Damn you. These sites are not good for my bank balance either. Thank Jebus they're blocked at work.

I'm the sort of person that comes home drunk and finds out a couple of days later that he's bid on things on graysonline.

So far, I've managed to accidentally buy towels, (seriously, who the fuck buys towels when they're drunk?), a crate of wines and A MACBOOK. (I already have one MacBook.. Why would I need another?)

That one hurt a little more when it hit the CC.

This could well be the solution to my lack-of-choice-sounds in my car! Wanted a Cd player but this and an MP3 player may just do the trick.

Although I'm not sure how it'll handle a Calyx/Teebee bassline :teef:
