Karl, how much for your board bag only?

I'm going to purchase new jacket, pants, bindings, boots, helmet and gloves in the next week... I know of a few good places around, but can anyone else recomend a really good place that will look after me if I plan on spending a fair bit? Cia?

Most places will look after you, but trigger bros and Mordy surf and ski have really good ranges and will look after you better than some others. Also depends on if you know the staff. Ask for Rene (boy) at Mordy & tell him that Cia sent you.

DP is cross country terrain from memory Andy.

It's next to Hotham though - so you can trek up there and ride Hotham.

I've never ridden DP though, I think a lot of the Hotham mountain staff all live down around there.

Hotham's my fave out of all Vic mountains. I don't like Falls and Buller's too busy.

Hotham = Bliss.

this is in 97 - 99ish @ Hotham

^ nice one Andy.

Blue ribbon is the best turns on the mountain when there's enough snow.

there's a hut with a pitched room there too so when there gets enough snow it builds a MASSIVE kicker of the roof.

Half way down, left hand side. there's two of them, one's an old shack, forget that one, you want the newer one with the traingle roof.

good times.

going to buller.... just the day trip. Super cheap through work... actually some spaces left if anyone wants in... $125 + equipment hire (if you need it)... if you need everything it comes to around $190 odd

Dinner plain is cool as, lots of quaint little lodges with trippy architecture all sheltered amongst the snowgums so its nice and sheltered from the wind. Really pretty, i used to stay up there often when i was a kid and a cross country skier.
Highly considering a season in Canada or Japan, maybe even Austria this year...hmmm decisions decisions
