Yep watsie. Unfortuantly the parma leaves alot to be desired. Better off with a plain snitzel or veal or the mixed grill.

Biggups Apple cider.

Weve had a fucking mouse in the house and I cant deal. Id rather sit with a snake around my neck and a spider on my hand then have to live with a mouse. Running around my kitchen :shudder:
As pathetic as that sounds, its fucking true.

Go Kitty!

Got get some delicious lunch from las vegan cafe on smith st if you are ever in the neighbourhood, only open tues-fri 11-3pm, right down the city end, just down from gertrude, that food in their will leave you very unscared.

Gopals on Swanston st do some really nice food too, just a few door down from you, service can be a bit wack but the food is good.

thanks CJ > gopals, as in the hari krishna place? NO!!!! they have drugs in their food. !! ;)

im not scared of not eating meat, im jsut scared to make the step and call myself something, you know...?
its like i dont call myself a meat eater really, but vegetarian has more weight somehow.

im all about changing my relationship to eating meat. once you become aware of it, everywhere you go, at every meal, everyones eating meat, its REALLY hard to eat vegie at most places...
I want it to be more of a ritual, like my drug taking too, like conscious, 'im gonig to eat some salmon now" and cooknig it and savouring it.
i dont know, i want to help the planet too in any way I can,
and be as healthy as my addictions will allow,
but the main reason I dont want ot eat meat anymore is that
its jsut TOO DAMN EASY to eat it all the time.

does that make sense? am i a cop out if i choose to cook and eat salmon every now and then and stil call myself vegetarian for most purposes?

pretty handy that my boy is a chef at the vegie bar though!

any moral advice from eaters of anything welcome!

If you want to eat on a moral higher plane, eat roo.

I've gone into reasons why in past posts... synopsis...

they are culled anyway, they have a free-range existence until the moment the bullet hits, their paws don't cut the fragile bond of lichens and other organisms that hold the topsoil together in semi-arid regions (unlike cows/sheep/pigs/goats), they are almost guaranteed 100% organic, they are one of the lowest fat meats available, no medicines or over-use of antibiotics, no pesticides used for lice control (did you know that until recently, sheep were dipped in baths of arsenic to control sheep-lice. Arse-fucking-nic!!

Also, can everyone who claims to be vego but still eats chicken and fish please fuck off>? (no offense intended, kitty, but last time I looked at the phylogenetic tree, fish were animalia, not fungi, eukaryote, prokaryote or plantae).

Also also, fish consumption is up there with locking your daughter in a cellar and fathering children with her. Not just becuase of the bioaccumulation of heavy metals, dioxins, pcbs, furans in the foodchain, but also because there is a burgeoning fish piracy industry. And what do you think aquaulture fish are fed on?? smaller fish caught in the open ocean.

i hear you, recent trip to third world country with no birth control awareness, no public waste disposal and millions of still active land mines has made me want to give up my nightclub job and go help the world somehow instead.

2am lockouts are not really an issue in the scheme of things
needs more bigger picture worldwide.
