I need me a bigup today so here it is.

Just fired my YMCA PT for putting my weights up two weeks ago, watched me strain, and fucked my neck. Have been sore since then and been to osteo etc etc. She denies any responsibility.

Found new guy today who comes to my local park, so i can take yoshi, and be outdoors away from crap pop and gym, 2 sessions a week for $60 when i want, and he's gonna push me, boxing etc etc.

i needs more smashing. i want to hurt after training, this guy sounds like he has a subwoofa and can do just that.

you fired your old pt because she made you sore, now you're after a trainer who will make you hurt?

yes FS.

sore as in, hurt from working muscles you dont use usually = good.

sore as in, cannot move upper body or park the car from strain from too much weight too soon = bad.

the first sore, i want every session. the second sore, i do not want.

thought about hitting up YMCA for osteo costs? they should have insurance and really shouldn't let people push you to that point - sounds like inexperience

I know a great PT who works (parks and her studios included) in north fitz/carlton sort of area FYI

yes well, i had to cancel a session this week due to pulled neck and she told me i have to pay for it cos I didnt give 24 hours notice. even when previous session was cut short due to me saying - um, neck's fucked.

She put the weight up a good 5-7 kilo's (for a seated row thats quite a bit at once) watched me strain, then made me do another set after i said 'my neck's fucked', then said 'oh yes, i saw you straining" ??!!!
she CAUSED the injury! she even said today "you always push yourself, so it's really your fault" !!!!
I PAY YOU to look after me dammit!

she told me im taking away her rent and being a nitpicker when i said, what about cut short session, and would you like my osteo bill? tempted to complain to the gym.

what do you think? complain to gym or pay the money?

that link looks good too, but thats out of my justification price range. cannot pay nearly as much for fitness as i do for rent. guy i spoke to today does all that as part of the sessions. you cant beat $30 a session, flexible, at the park of your choice, ive checked around.

yeah your guy is certainly affordable

I don't know for sure but it seems a fairly clear cut case of not being responsible on her part. if it was me id speak to the gym, but thats my kind of personality - they should have insurance. but then you don't want to cost her a job - on the other hand if she is really negligent she probably needs a bit of a dressing down

shit i don't know

maybe bail on her, don't pay, tell her to drop it or you'll complain?

yeah im usually miss vocal about these things, have no issue with confronting people about crap service etc.

but its $50, pretty inclined to just pay her now that i have voiced my feelings to her and be done with it.

meh. bigger problems to spend my energy on atm tbh.

Big ups my little bro for surviving walking thru a glass sliding door... JUST! Apparently he wasn't even drunk. He's ended up with nearly 100 stitches and nearly sliced his jugular. So glad he's ok. Gonna be a few weeks of pain though. If you wanna see pics here's the links..
