8 hours at work consists of up to 13 programs running, no point saying the names because they won't mean anything to you guys.

Then out of work
flickr, deviantart, facebook, mb.c, youtube, hotmail, ebay for making my dream list of what new lens to get for my camera, photoshop, itunes, writing crap, uploading photos and endless gawking at art and fashion sites.
Shit loads I'm ashamed actually.....

Lucky you naturally have so much energy, that is pretty crazy.

I am stuffed after 8:30 - 6:30 day at work.
I spend as much time on the phone in my new job as on Explorer/Datebases/research

Um, no. I pop in, have a quick read, write something and piss off again. I only come into the computie room to have a cigarette, which takes 5 minutes then I'm outtie again. And I don't smoke that much.

You're thinking too far into the past my friend, times they have a change-ed.

It's scary. Every day I'm doing music and surfing the web at home, then I go to work and stare at a screen for hours, then come home and do more music and web surfing.

have you tried using a tablet? i've got a few friends in the design industry who use them full time now after suffering from rsi/cts.
