I've spent all today (Monday) reformatting my work PC...I feel ya pain bro...
dude. my PC probs are always beyond rediculous. i spent 4 hours working on it after work yesterday.

i got a socket 754 Athlon64 3000+ and i got one of these mobos because i needed 4 IDE ports cos i got fucken 4 HDD and DVDrom and a DVD-RW.

http://www.giga-byte.com/MotherBoard/Pr ... 8NSNXP.htm

ive built PC's a million times (its like me job you know) so i was all like yeah fucken this is gunna be rad.

wacked it all in. cards and all cos i was pretty confident it was gunnae work. loaded up the XP SP2 cd. got past the initial file copy stage then BAM! blue screen.

hmm. tried again. same thing. double more concerned hmm. tried a XP SP1 cd. got further, like into the graphical stage. then blue screen.

decided to take out all the extra cards i put in, a stick of ram. even gave the RAM some more juice and turned off any onboard stuff like Firewire, RAID, LAN, etc in the BIOS. only 1 HDD plugged in.

finally got XP SP2 to install last night.

so i starting sticking the PCI cards in. started with my sound card. all good. then i stuck in the WiFi card, all good.

stuck the other 512 RAM chip in and went back into the BIOS and turned the other stuff on. all good.

started downloading some drivers and shit. then BAM! reboot.

now it gets to the welcome screen adn reboots.

so i did some card removing, and even tried safe mode, still reboots at this point.

lame.

so i thought it could be either RAM, PSU, WiFi card, bad Mobo.

loaded up Knoppix with everything plugged in. and its fine. so i reckon it might be the Mobo not likeing one of the above things.

gunna run memtest86 on the cunt of a thing tonight. if thats fine. i reckon its a dodgy mobo. fucken.

fecking lame fecking cunting fucknuckle.

ONE BIG ASS PROBLEM!!!!

I have two tickets for the Ferrari Box at the Melbourne Grand prix however I have to choose one mate today because Ferrari want names and addresses ASAP to make sure neither of us are terrorists.

SO HOW DO I CHOOSE??

Have worked out that I won't be inviting any chicks because there are too many fit, pit lane girls to have a female friend complaining all day about sexism. Gay guy could be good, suck the girls in then parm them off to me or the bogan rev head who knows everyting about cars and can talk shit with the rest of the motor headz at Ferrari.

Anyone have any better offers that might persuade me to ditch my mates?

Motorola!

My camera phone is basically useless as a camera phone - I can't download the photos to my PC - gives me all these error messages. Lots of toing and froing with their tech support has not managed to fix the problem - they're now saying there's something wrong with my PC and they can't help me.

"Are you sure you haven't had any other phones connected to this PC?"
"Yes"
"Are you SURE?"
"Yes"
"Really sure? Your friends haven't connected theirs to this PC?"
"Not unless they snuck in while I was sleeping. FFS I'm f***ing sure alright!"
"Well in that case we can't help you sorry"

:smt021

So anyone looking to upgrade their phone - don't go with Motorola!

I have not had a problem doing it with mine SK.
And so what if a friend had done it anyway, would suck if that stopped you doing it.
I must admit i am not overly impressed with the phone though, had a few glitches.

they're saying that the errors I'm getting point to the fact that the port was used for another phone or that another program that I have installed is trying to use the phone as a modem. Or something.

I don't know

I give up

I might see if I can take it back - things do not bode well for me though cos I have another 18 months of the contract to go

that goon in the hat with the dogs in the fucking window on little collins st.

surely he can be slightly more creative and make up a new tune that involves dogs barking on cue. i mean all he does is stop playing and look at the thing and it barks.

those poor mutts could be so much more. im waiting for the day they snap and go straight for his jugular.

My gripe is Tuesday, the day.

For the following reasons:
The traffic is always worse on tuesdays.
Where other days have a purpose or a vibe, Tuesday has none eg) Monday is the start of week, Wednesday is the hump/middle of the week Thursday is good cos its pay day, and Friday ..well it goes without saying! But Tuesday...TUESDAY IS NOTHING!!

Why do we need Tuesday as a day of the week? What is its purpose??!?!

The ONLY redeeming feature of the day is that is 24 hours closer to the weekend...

over'n out

...oldies in those f*** motorised wheelchairs that go flying up and down the footpath, most times in a convoy and always expecting everyone to get out of their path. ... :smt012

There might be $6 lunches at the RSL , maybe even some free pokies tokens with the fish of the day but that aint no call for the motorised footpath militia.....why don't they drive their f*** cars at the same speed they drive them F1 chairs? :smt027

I saw someone going 60 in the right lane of Nepean Hwy yesterday (where the speed limit is 80) wouldn't move out of the way for all the traffic backing up behind him either (I was in the middle lane - yay!)

They've fucked with Tarzan. Cunts. It's now www.rolldabeats.com.

Why must people always take something that's perfectly good and useful and try and make it better and in the process ruin it? Dumn fucking cunts.

That's an initial gut reaction. Things might not be as bad as all that. Time will tell.
