It sucks that you're so concerned about that Charlie, cause one supports the other. I felt the same way about my legs this summer. Can't run (bad knees) so walking's the go, but I felt embarrassed with my skinny little pins walking the streets in shorts. But if I did walk, my legs would get bulkier and I wouldn't need to worry about the stupid shorts.

We worry for naught

We need more occassions like the Spencer Tunick photo shoot that happened in Melbourne once. Seeing all those people in the nudie really taught me a lesson about body awareness. Once we get our gear off you can see that everyone is unique and we ALL have some good and bad bits, and it is very levelling and refreshing to see that the body comes in some many different shapes and sizes.

I am very demorolized with my exercise as well, cause my body cannot do the amount i know it needs to to aid me to lose weight (since my back i have put a bit of weight on) no matter how much i am exercising so i just feel like i am wasting my time, putting myself through pain for no reason
you should look into yoga/tai chi/pilates. excellent remedial exercise and great for building up core strength and flexibility.

GOTD: people on the train (read: bogans on the train) who play shitty r'n'b (or any music for that matter) on their mobile phones, on the EXTERNAL speaker.

Get some fucking headphones you backwards, selfish fucktards... really not needing to hear your shite music on a tinny mobile at 8am in the morning.

PS: McCharlesworth - if you're self conscious about swimming, maybe go either early in the morning or late at night until you start to feel better about yourself...

After swimming/exercising for a while, I can guarantee you'll feel less self-conscious, as regular exercise makes you feel better about yourself (even if you're not losing weight yet).

Definately.

I saw kids doing that all the time when I was in France. They'd sit there with their friends and listen to the shit sounds coming out of the phone. All the time.

I really don't get it...

But, I guess if they listen to shit music - what difference does it make if it's being played on a shit "system"?

If anything, it probably enhances their listening experience.

i dont care for apostrophes, they are a catstrophe.

i dont care for capitals, or periods that dont bleed

i am not friends with the semi colon, which needs an irrigation imo.

commas, however, have their place, cause breathing is nice.

but really, The pheeomnnal pweor of the hmuan mnid.

Aoccdrnig to rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is that the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a total mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the human mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.

Smiply amzanig huh?

grammer nazis, your cute, but isnt there more important things to worry about?

One American word that rubs my the wrong way is period... for some odd reason...

As in full-stop period, not period period - that one can't be helped (and us much better than the alternatives me thinks).
