my gripe is mobile broadband, its a fuckin scam i tells ya.

you have to buy the modem, and the sim card, fair enough, and then you pay minimum of
$15 for 500 mb from 3
or $20 for 150mb from telstra ! (cunts) to use in one month. (pre paid)

however 3 only covers inner cities pretty much, they do not have any coverage in rural places, and def not up in cairns or the places i often go. and there is no love for overseas.
telstra does have better coverage, but i went into their bourke st 'superstore' 'you asked for it, we give it to you' fucking bullshit.
nice lady at front door tells me to go up the back, where i stand in front of a service desk for fifteen minutes being totally ignored by the wanker behind the desk, not even a nod and acknowledgment that hes busy and notices me.
then the fucker tells me the deal, and no, they dont have any INFORMATION in the store, that would be too easy! you dont want potential customers finding out your ACTUAL deals! oh NO!

YAY. can has no internet on the road. damn, i thought technology was fucking up to speed with this.

Yeah, it is happening all over the place. This is actually a part of a new salary packaging agreement which has just screwed me.

I work for a NFP, so it is not like they are cutting jobs for profit, it is just that there is no money to begin with and even less since the GFC has rooted us in the arse.

Trying to do a good thing for the community, took a huge pay decrease for this job and now even less. Standard of living is down, job satisfaction is up, but really, how much do i need to sacrafice for the greater good.
