GOTD - my second week of working 5 days a week. I have had mondays off for 5 years. But the gallery now means I need to devote extra time here so I've lost my 3 day weekends by choice. And for all who work 5 days and wanna bitch at me, you dont have club obligations all weekend long as well so :P

awww liz. all mine went when i was 16...dont worry there all in nan/pop world, knitting, bowling, fixing stuff together making sure all the grand kids are doing ok. and yea no more pain, thats a big one. hugs mate.

thanks all. she had alzheimer and leukemia, the other day she decided to stop eating and drinking. so we knew it was coming, its just so sad though. she was one tough lady, she was the oldest person to do the African trek (camping out and canoeing etc), which she did some years ago. she used to crack dirty jokes (nanna style dirty jokes that is) and do cartwheels in the front yard with the all of the kids. hopefully she is somewhere adventuring about like she loved to do

She sounds rad... My nan died 2 years ago, she was rad too...

I wasn't sad, she had a good life and was 93. My other nan is still alive, mid 80s, still going strong.

GOTD fuckheads that don't want to work. Been looking for another Barista for 3mths now, and no fucker in this town wants a job. So looks like i'll be working 6 days a week for a bit longer. :( Joys of managing a busy country cafe. tired.so.tired. At least my bank balance is happy.
