From the reviews I saw, the levels get very same same after a while, there are no real puzzles, or real depth of gameplay.
I think if you like hack and slash games you will probably like it though... Will probably still buy.

i bought it today. currently counting down work time left.

very hard to do project plans when you have a new game to go home and play. mainly because I keep wishing i could move the bars on the gantt chart by using force push.

...........

and there it is. just about the nerdiest thing I will ever say. mmmwhey!

Force Unleashed... great.

Awesome visuals - the levels are really pretty albeit a little linear. So far the story is nicely done and the voice acting is pretty good - save for the token 'gay' droid (gimme HK-47 from KOTOR plzkthnx).

Combat takes ages to get used to - I still can't use combos properly.

The targeting system is hella screwy - would've preferred a permanent fixed camera instead of free-roaming.

Agree targeting system is ghey. need GTA targeting which was easy as (after all the game setup is rather similar - except you can't roll Ewoks for their speeders)

The visuals are deffo great, game looks really good. Sometimes the level of detail blew me away. But simple things are kinda stupid like when the game first got going the scrolling was ghey as, but that seemed to go away. mebbe its an issue more with my xbox or summat. Might try and replay first level and see if the issue is still there.

Yeah the combos do take a while to get used to. I'm getting the lightning swordy one going well now tho. I find cannonballing and the dash + lightsaber one not too hard too. and the jumping slash is a piece of piss. Some off them aren't worth the hassle, like exploding lightning which is pretty useless

and ol, it wouldn't be a star wars anything if it didn't have a ghey character they just wish would die.

Has anyone here had any experience with the nvidia quadro range of cards?
I can get a nvidia quadro FX 3500 for $360 which seems like an awesome deal.

not sure if its a great deal haven't been keeping up on prices lately

sounds like its good though they're usually pricey

not really for gaming though, we have them in some machines at work

more for 3d software like maya/3dsmax, rendering, and CAD

Rock Band finally getting an Aus release: 7 November $250 for full pack (drums, guitar, mic, game)

4 days before World Tour gets released and cheaper.

I'll still be buying world tour though. The instruments are so much better.

The only way to get that data back is to purchase a recovery program that can recover data that hasn't been written over already.

For some reason.. and I have no idea why, they had those machines at Galactic Circus at the casino before anywhere else in the world (except japan).
Game looks sweet too.

i think that you can enter your name when you start playing...the match is between balrog(or bison) and ryu. all the machines are hooked up back to back for versus matches.

Yes there is is, been in developement for a while. Should be out early next year.

On a fucked up note, Silent Hill Homecomings has been refused classification:
