I know it's sad and all when people die, but really, who cares?
They're just people at the end of the day and every single person with an iota of celebrity seems to get more media coverage in death than in life.
Does anyone actually have any heartwarming personal stories about time they shared with Corey? I doubt it.

The resaon I care is its a stark reminder about how fragile life is.

And while I haven't starred in any major movies, some of my lifestyle is similar to people like Coreys and that kind of scares me when I see people like him dying.

I guess it's just this culture of celebrity and the veneration of has-beens that seems all too common these days (thinking about the endless tours of washed up 60s/70s/80s rockers 90s pop stars etc). All you need is 5 minutes of fame and when anything, no matter how insignificant happens, your name is relentlessly splashed all over the news (ie. Lara Bingle - who the fuck cares!). Perhaps more a whinge about that than the fact that this guy died, and maybe an inappropriate place to vent my frustration. I could go on, but I won't at the risk of becoming even more offensive.
