More on Dabs Myla
Dabs is a prolific illustrator and graffiti artist who spent his teenage years growing up in Melbourne in the Early ‘90s. The graffiti scene influenced him greatly in his style and technique. These days Dabs’ characters come to life in more contextualized environments than ever before, whether they are painted on walls in the streets, or on canvases for a gallery setting.

Myla was also raised in Melbourne where she was obsessed with detailed painting and drawing from an early age. Throughout her life Myla has continued to develop her artistic ways, and now concentrates on detailed cities and landscapes. Three years ago, along with Dabs, they combined forces to solely collaborate on their works together.

For the past 12 months Dabs and Myla have been living and working in Hollywood. In a town where many of the world’s high-profile artist’s reside the two have made a name for themselves, working for established people such as Disney, Hummer and Green Day.

The media caught onto the buzz and their work featured in renowned publications Desktop Magazine, Sneaker Freaker and Juxtapoz.

This'll be Awesome!!! Love the Dabs and Myla piece out the front of the Hell Toupee gallery atm :D

There front and center with a big bowl of the Tan's finest fodder.

Killing it atm Friday :)
I wanted to be a hero. I wanted to be the center of attention. I wanted the glory, I wanted the fame. I wanted the pretty girls to come up and say, "Hi, I see that you're good at Centipede."

They painted the outside graf wall, plus some characters inside, plus did a new posterwall.

The posterwall is up for another month, the graff would til the end of the july, and we'll keep the characters around ;)
