Aussie Farmers: direct delivery service

Post by Direkt »

Anyone tried these dudes: http://orders.aussiefarmers.com.au/cust_homepage.php

I like the idea of it. I'm sick of paying top dollar for shithouse produce from the big two (Coles or Safeway). A guy at work has been with them for a while, for the fruit and veg - recommends it highly.

Think I might give them a go.

Yep - we use them. Not all the time but when we are both snowed under just place an order online and it turns up. Produce has always been good. Never had an issue.

Understandably a little more exxy than what I could cook for myself, but still - it's well priced Scoop.

I like the Aussie Farmers idea because it's cheaper and better than the supermarket stuff (comparable to market pricing), and the money goes straight to the farmers.

but then i had later gone "damn i wish i remember what that was, because it sounds like a good thing!!"

we had a fortnightly delivery for preloaded vegies and fruit ... canned it about 2 months in. Produce was decent and reliable but range wasn't really what we wanted. always had loads of red onions, lebanese cucumbers and iceberg lettuce ... which we couldn't get through.
