ive been thru 3 gumtree ad interview sessions and we usually do about 10 people over 2 days. 90% of people are tools but we've managed to get a few really good people in!

good luck with the search!

You mention Drum and Bass in your ad. Probably leads to :brohugs: and :tard: and :3some: wanting to move in.

Oh, I've had some blindingly infuriating difficulties with Gumtree not forwarding my replies to ads. Do you have a direct contact in the body of the ad itself? There could be a whole world of cool people out there whose replies are getting trapped in the stupid website

It never tells you you've been bounced, though, so you are left wondering why no-one has replied to 40 messages. Craigslist has a similar 'feature' - in our last ad we put the direct contact AND a line about using it to avoid the bug.

So far i think i have arranged about 30 interviews.

Half have not turned up with no call, another 20% have cancelled before arriving. Of the remainder the majority are dicks and the rest don’t fit the description.

Last night i arranged two interviews, one chick didn't show up the other forgot to mention through our email correspondence and telephone call that she had a partner and they are only in Australia for 6 months.

The interview lasted about 30 seconds when the first thing i said was "so are both of you looking at the room because we are not interested in couples".
