RIP Junior.
Guys, wishing you lots of love during your grief.
Nothing replaces that little void in your heart that he left.
But as time goes on, the pain lessens and the photos and memories will remind you of the wonderful joy that shared together.

He is now one of those little stars up there, and he is probably giving hell to Uly and vice versa, and all the other little loves up there.

cutness!

yoshi has learnt to 'beg' up on hind legs which at first was cute and is now tres annoying. he can hold it for two to three minutes without falling over, no shit.

mummy ignoring your rope tatters and on a buisness call? BEG!
mummy eating something juicy and not giving you any? BEG!
mummy severely in need of downtime and putting the ball in her lap not working? BEG!

also, after a year and a half of sharing my bed with him,
ive decided no MORE!
he snores louder than a trucky, kicks me all night long, and generally thinks hes king shit as hes under the covers with his head on the other pillow.

bought a huge princeley bed for him, which he sleeps in the livingroom in, and for the first week i was up every hour, on the hour, to whimpers at my door. stern face and the only words 'on your bed' growled at low volume.
now we are gettin through the night, and im sleeping so soundly i wake up with creases on me.

much better.

I just stayed with some friends recently who allowed their dogs to sit on the couch and jump on beds. I have always had dogs as pets when I lived at home, but we never let our dog do that. It was horrible. Always being covered in pet fur and being woken up by a big kelpie/dingo cross jumping on me every morning started to get wearying :S I felt loved but also squished LOL

i dont really let him on the bed at all much anymore, but i hear him run into there and jump gleefully on it when im busy.

hes in his teenage years, im expecting some rebellion still.

the boy and i have his sister's puppy Sumo over at the moment. first night was terrible cos he was whiney and barking but now he is brilliant! how cute is he!!! he looks so cute sleeping in his kennel.

i cant believe how naughty he used to be because everywhere we go now everyone just loves him, and comments on what a good boy he is, when other dogs are being a handful.
terrible twos are still to come tho, apparently is worst time.

One morning I stormed home after a Gimme when Diesel was about 1 years old and I thought I better take him for a walk before I cant walk.

I forgot how many people like to talk about the puppy when you take him for a walk

So here I was strolling up Puckle St completly off chop and some old lady stops us and says to me "what is he?"

I pause confused for a second thinking to myself what the hell does she think he is and then reply

"He is a puppy"

Completly baffeled as to how this lady cant see he is a dog not realising she was asking what sort of dog

I finally realised what was happening and got the hell outta there knowing its well past the time of me being in public in this state ha ha ha

Only cause I had to mate

He used to chase it round and round in circles when he was little but as he got bigger he usd to be able to catch it and would bite it all the time

So I asked the vet if there was anything I could spray on it or something so he wouldnt bite it and the vet told me he would have to have it docked cause he chases it cause he catches a glimps of it out of the corner of his eye and will continue to do it while he can see it

Vet said if we didnt have it docked he would develop a psychosis and have to go on doggy valium or be put down

So thats why tail came off

We have its mum too, she gave birth to 5 puppies about 2 months ago.

Since sold them all but kept this one for a showdog.

we had kelpies all through farm life. Most loyal dog. So obedient and clever. Once we accidentally left rusty /farmers are original/ at our other farm 40kms away and he found his way home safely within 2 days. Was stressful but good outcome. I have never seen my father cry over the death of am animal but he was grief stricken.
