Overkill or what.

I like Iron Chef, but could not for an Australian one, the US one is utter pants and so will this be...

I love to cook and love food but i am getting just a bit sick of all this food on telly, lets make all chefs to be the new celebrity....

BORING!

Agreed! Saturation or what!
I hate it when the latest trend is cottoned onto, be it fashion, tv or whatevs and then that's ALL you get. Give it a rest guys. It has so much potential to be lame as fuck imo.

Season 3 of Mad Men smashed. OMG I love it. Most of them are pretty awful characters but you love them all the same. Christ Joan is hawt. :motorboat:

ps. saturation does indeed kill the essence of whatever it was that made it good.

i was attempting to make a combined pun using something about vanilla essence, and black and white photography. but i am stumped.

Just started Modern Family....

GOLD! very good show, reminds me of arrested development, only shitloads better.

Mad Men is Brilliant... gunna start Season 3 tonight. Totes agree WP, the characters are horrid, but charming.. Roger is the best though.

Dear David Attenborough and the BBC Earth unit, stop using old left-over footage from your last 3 documentaries and piecing them together to make a 'new' documentary. Have the BBC locked a cloe to retirement/death David in the battery-cage equivalent of a documentary production studio, pumping him full of meth and roids and forcing him to squeeeeeeze out another one? It sure as hell feels that way. Come on David... just one more voice-over... then we'll put you out to pasture.

4 corners looks good tonight

When the world's financial bubble blew, the solution was to lower interest rates and pump trillions of dollars into the sick banking system. On the face of it this seemed the only way to deal with impending disaster, but was it?

Pretty much sums up my mindset at the moment. Global financial systems are a house of cards, and there are ominous signs suggesting that the shit is about to hit the fan again in a massive way... overheating of the asian economies, massive unemployment in the US, UK and parts of Europe and nowhere to go in terms of additional stimulus and interest rate tweaking.

We live in interesting times.

Also, The Inbetweeners is MAD :retzielikes:

Yeah its cool am gripped now.

I really quite like how old skool it all is. I'm not saying its cheap but there are space ships with analogue meters, space suits without vacuum seals, the president dying of cancer but they have FTL drives.

Its interesting how the sci fi detail of the show is pretty dated but the plots and characters are good.
