Peep Show I found to be blindingly hilarious but also found it got old very quickly. Was over it by end of season 2.

WTF? Season 4 and 5 are best, and 6 and 3 and ALL OF IT!!! although season 7 did lack a little in a few eps. But so very consistent with its hilarity... i have watched first 6 seasons at least 3 times, and first couple at least 5 or even 6 times... its the first show i recomend and watch with people that haven't seen it, and it doesn't get old

ah well I love the inbetweeners, fucking awesome.

tbh inbetweeners reminds me of the kid I was, and I was so like those boys (all of them rolled into one) whereas the peep show characters are two men I never want to be.

both are very typical of british humour though (ie: cringe-making in the extreme) so I can understand a lot of people not liking them.

yeah I have seen the first episode. its pretty good if you like watching buff half naked redneck US soldiers killing Ayerakees. otherwise not so good.

I used to love war movies and TV shows I cant stand them now, so cliched. I hated Hurt Locker for same reason.

Yeah Hurt Locker was the most over rated piece of crap. I thought Generation Kill might have been a show that takes the piss out of redneck US soldiers... oh well. Might watch the first episode and see what i think.

Its more of a character study really. If you've read the book its a pretty straightforward account of everyday life in a marine recon unit with bits and pieces of opinion thrown in.

lol its weird though... a lot of stuff doesn't upset me at all.

I think because all the main characters in the family went off the rails after they lost their dad, I really empathised because I did too.

I never really watch TV, but I was at a friends last night and they were watching channel nine while eating dinner....

fuck me, ACA was making me so angry... they had a story on how FROZEN VEGGIES ARE MORE NUTRITIOUS THAN FRESH VEGGIES! Such an obvious paid editoral, birds-eye and mcCain were featured extensively. This woman they were "interviewing" about it was like one of those supermarket cooking demo/taste test bitches... On further investigation, there may be the posibility of truth in the story. But yanno, it's still advertising dressed up as news. but then...
And produce that’s processed right after being picked retains more of the nutrients, according to the UK-based Institute of Food Research, which carried out the research on behalf of the frozen food manufacturer Birds Eye.

yeh aca and today tonight are constant sources of anger...
the worst thing is not what they are saying, because generally you can laugh at most of it
it is the fact that there is a large percentage of people that take it as fact.

ps. frozen vegies taste like shit

i thought it was pretty established that snap/fresh frozen is better than aged refrigerated unfrozen

but thats not a fair comparison if you are actually buying fresh local produce
