haha think that is exactly what Hardy said at the time when he McCoy said that. Man it was gold. Fuck i love Law & Order, even though i was slightly disappointed with the plot in the first episode.

bit torrent so so awesomely rad.
According to British Web analysis firm CacheLogic, BitTorrent accounts for an astounding 35 percent of all the traffic on the Internet -- more than all other peer-to-peer programs combined -- and dwarfs mainstream traffic like Web pages.

Forgot to mention Creature Comforts, ABC tonight 9.20 - 9.30 (between Altered Statesmen & Coupling)

A show that interviews animals (Wallace & Grommet style puppets) about all sorts of stuff - very funny.

That altered statesmen doco is also pretty interesting - it seems that JFK was addicted to speed, as was Churchill (as well as alcohol).

Desperate Housewives was ok actually, but it was a first episode so not fantastic (first episodes never are thou, just introducing you to characters etc) looking forward to a few more episodes when it gets good. Its done by the same guys that make Six Feet Under and I love that show.

Channel 7 is repeating the episode again on thursday night I think for those of you that missed it?

Interested in checking out the other show that Channel 7 is putting a heap of promo push into as well - Lost.

Superbowl = meh. Why do Americans need padding to play essentially what is rugby?

SBS has had some interesting docos lately. The Future is Wild screens at 6 on saturday evenings (nice and early for us sociable types). It speculates on what life will be like on Earth in 5 million, 10 million, 100 million and 200 million years in the future. It suffers from extreme scientific dilution, sorta like Walking with Dinosaurs, but its entertaining to watch and just go "ewwww" at all the wierd animals.

Highlight of last week was a land-dwelling octopus. Gross.

I saw that too. they couldn't get the CD to shatter while in a standard CD drive so they amp up and get some kinda power tool on steroids and attatch a CD to it. eventually succeeding in showering the home made ballistics dummy with shards of CD

that dude was havin way too much fun

So true! I saw an American comedian a couple of months back, can't remember his name, but anyhoo he said that Australian sports like the AFL is heaps tougher than anything America could produce. He reckons that Australia kick arse over Americans cos we don't need no sissy padding hahaha  sissy Americans. Love it!
