Post by DEAN G »

Calling all junglists!!

Corruption Crew is proud to present you the Ruffneck Souljah Tour on Saturday 4th of December at Laundry. Ruffneck Souljah recordings are at the forefront of the New Zealand ragga-jungle scene, putting out three highly regarded CD releases, 'NZ ragga Sound' EP, 'Don't test me' mix cd and 'Soundbwoy Murderation' LP. Expect a 100% dubplate mix of Jungle/Reggae/Dancehall/Hip Hop from DJ Souljah Sensi as he comes direct from 8 months in Montreal, New York and Toronto. During this time Souljah Sensi has collaborated with Taktik, Demolition Man, Million Dan, Krinjah and MC Trigger. Also DJing for the night we proudly present Kim de la Haye (Junglettes, Ragga'd) direct from Brisbane, mixing it up as she knows best with a classic jungle mash-up. Keeping the crowd on fire with Live PA will be jungle/hiphop badbwoy Mr T. and MC Angela Graham bringing the smooth soulful melodies.

Usual suspects include: Safire, Finna, Mark B, Livewire, Skillz n Dabeata.

$5 Entry from 9pm with $1 pots to sink for the first hour!

This is not your usual DnB event....If you wanna hear where the ragga-jungle sound is going you don't wanna miss this.....

RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE!

If you are unsure about the ragga jungle thing, check Souljah Sensi's interview in Beat this week, or even better shake a leg down to Laundry!

Big ups to everyone who came down, Ruffneck Souljah Crew rocked it hard with some ball tearing ragga jungle. Quite interesting to speak to a few headz who came down just for the jungle, without being dnb fans, glad we could cater for you guys!

Stay tuned for Feb, hopefully a massive night planned!
