No way Tash, you can't let guilt get in the way of a life long dream. Regret is a fucking horrible thing. Go for it lady!

Re: JOBS

guilt because i've only been here three weeks and really like the people.
i know my manager will be gutted if I leave, and have started work on a few new projects that will be annoying to have train a new person on etc.
i'm not going to let that stop me of course, but it's just on my mind.
i always feel kinda bad quitting jobs.
but that's just me.

if you've only been there 3 weeks i wouldn't worry about it being too hard for yr manager to train someone else tbh.

the man knows.

believe that in the reverse situations no business on this planet exercises remorse, guilt or any other sort of emotion.

your boss is a manager, and gets paid as such, and part of that is hiring and training new people after other people have left. its not your problem.

I'd never really stay for those reasons. I guess I'm just a loyal person or somthing.
My manager and I get along incredibly well (even though she's a staunch Liberal and Republican :pukeleft: ) so it's for that reason that'd I'd get the guilts.
She keeps say that she'll kill me if I leave, and I haven't even hinted at the fact that I might, so that'll be a conversation to put off.
See what happens. I keep thinking it's mine, when I haven't even applied, so I should stop getting my hopes up. lol

my wife has a strong work ethic too, and she feels bad letting her team down when she's had enough or found something better.

you have to be more ruthless, like nic! :teef:

Nice one kitty.
That place you're leaving is evil, in a kinda weird good way.
Still evil though.
I wouldn't mind something to do other than walk the dog, go op-shopping, mix and talk shit on the internet during the week.
Something along the lines of what Blaxter wants would be excellent.

I could do a few days before the 17th when I'm going on two weeks holidays. Then I can do a few days a fortnight or something. Sounds like your job doesn't it?

arlo, i think you would be ace at working in the moosic industry man.
you have the musical knowledge across mediums and genres, you have the excitement that is nessecary, and are a great communicator..both verbal and online...

id be a reference for ya if you find something, however the last six months has shown me that websites and papers are pretty much useless when it comes to looking for work in music...artshub has some stuff, but its all corporate high end bullshite often...

good luck, tis a good resolution to do more of what you love, no matter what it is!
