Scott, my partner, gets one every year cause his Aunty gets it cheap or something through her work as a nurse and can do the injections cause she's an RN.

I've never known him to have any side effects or anything with it.

I've never had it but honestly until last year to my memory I had NEVER had the flu. I've had bad colds but never a flu and didn't even realise I had a mild dose of the flu til I went to the doctor wondering why i was dying.

I dunno what effectiveness they have when it comes to a young fit and healthy person but at the same time older people and those with Low immune systems can probably benifit from others having it.

Argh I can't figure out how to word it properly but what i'm thinking with the getting vaccinated and helping others is like kids in childcare and primary school and how it can effect other kids when theres a few that aren't.

Hopefully that made sense outside of my head.

I'm contemplating looking into them this year because i'm now dealing directly with the elderly on a regular basis and also those in hosptials and rehabilitation facilities and Pallative care facilities. Haven't looked too much into it yet though.
The fridge is angry, the cheese told me so.

the apple is not the protein. although you could crack an egg into a glass and skull it, i'd rather eat an apple for the fiber and sugars. also you wont absorb that sugar so quick for all the fiber you are eating with the apple.

probs dont want too much dairy either.

fruit and nuts.

hayfever absolutely slaying me (at least i think it's hayfever)

over the last couple of years have tried zyrtec, telfast, beconase and rhinocort

all of them have succeeded in doing absolutely NIL in curbing the symptoms

am seriously at my wit's end. doesn't strike all that often but when it does i'm totally debilitated for about 24 hours at a time.......total grump, can't keep head upright due to dripping, nose red raw from having to use tissues every 13 seconds, general shitness

today's probably takes the cake as worst ever. have never been able to put my finger on what the exact cause is. am gonna go see a doc about it but in the meantime, anyone got any recoms for medications/prevention/suicide techniques?

na but i just got on the website and it seems i've been dosing incorrectly

tbh dunno if it's the right thing to be taking.....like i said i only seem to get hayfever for about a day at a time. apparently rhinocort can take 2-3 to begin working

makes it kind of redundant in that case. ah well, might go have another dose before bed and see how it goes

Yes. Still, they're fat. You obviously need some good fats - but you prob shouldn't be overindulging in them.

I was addicted to dried mango for a little while (unsweetened, unsulfured.) ZOMG, like crack. Cannot be buying here, though.

Now, retzienosnack. Makes meals non-optimally satisfying :retzienolike:

My mum was a total hippy about these things. Dried fruit was a TREAT. I had to survive on manky old apples at recess.
We also were only allowed to watch The 7:30 Report and The Bill on TV. AND LOOK HOW I TURNED OUT.

At the same time I found the good dried mango, I also found dried banana :nommmm:. When I reported this to my housemate, she pointed out that those are both treats her rabbit likes...

10 handfuls on nuts would be about 80g-100g fat tbh

doesn't block arteries but it certainly contributes to body fat

i don't even start becoz cannot control myself- dry roasted almonds are the best

flu vax massively linked to infertility and miscarriages of late, it's true

my love affair with cider is pretty much over. its too sweet, and doesnt get you drunk! (but strawberry rekorderlig with vodka....ohhhhhhh)

back to vodka/soda/fresh lime, its the best of the evils imo.

:(

my last PT told me i HAD to give up alcohol, i told her its a requisite for my employment unfortunately. fired her hahah - new PT is a wogboy and understands

In fact, I just read that the amount of calories in alcohol is second only to fat, per gram! Obviously you don't drink alcohol at 100% alc./vol., well not quite (!), but still...

sounds like a pretty sensible diet?
