gimme 'classic' styling nikes over their more 'futuristic' styles........some of the 'mono-blob' nikes coming out are filth.

That's just stupid
Agreed.
All nikes, past and present look shit. Jordans are shit. It's all shit. I've owned a few nikes, they last like what, 3 months...wow, good workmanship on those. took all but 30c to make any of those. but you're paying $200+ on research&dev....ooooh shox! i'm impressed. /sarcasm.

I've got a pair of Mizuno runners, fitted to my foot shape and walk style and they've lasted 3 years so far, with extensive abuse.

If you buy shoes on the merit of style and looks, i don't care. It's your cash, and i'm of the opinion you get what you pay for. I've had a shocking run with Nikes and will never buy them ever. Haven't since '99 anyway. My point is, they still look as bad as they are made.

You can't polish a turd!

ive had three pairs of these in this colourway, havent even chewed through one pair properly and ive had them four years, hence buying some more (with "abuse" whatever your definition of that is, rubbing it on ur footstool or something.
recently got another colourway also, theyre the best shoes made besides jordan IVs (which i have never seen wear through or fall apart) and CD Rick Howard 01s, which were so good i bought two pairs of also, and between them they lasted like 7 years (still going, too)

lol you all know i'm right. nikes are poorly made. prove me wrong then and show me a pair you've got that isn't either dirty as fook, soles worn, holes, grips gone from the bottom, airs popped, etc. etc.

ankle breakin' pieces of shit.

and i agree with mecka, the classic style just is terrible. sense of style comes from being original, not nostalgic. you just look like a dweebling nerd ready for a fad beating.

i'm suprised none of you bigup salmon polo's at the same time. because that's how lame i see these nike shoes as being.

Dunlop Volley Slip-ons or STFU!
Most comfy simple shoes I've ever owned.
Cheap as - about $30.. Onto my 3rd pair.
I won't buy any other shoes, but I wish they'd come back in Camo print.

of course wearing 5 pairs on rotation isn't going to do much. i'm talking about wearing the same pair. don't blur the issue with your tricks.

if you're wearing the same pair of trainers every day, you need to see a doctor - stat.

that's a recipe for tinea.

yep thats true, judging how my mates wear them in and how much abuse they can take -- they were a good buy.

and also i have very limited options of shoes at size 14. so nobody needs to trip on my choices.

fyi, if you urinate in shower on your feet, you won't get tinea. look it up. i'm not saying i do it religiously, but that said i've never had tinea in my life; and i shower daily. So if tinea is a problem for you, maybe you need to analyse what you're not cleaning.

lol don't bring in the seinfeld argument into the debate :P

next thing you'll tell me, you never had sex in a shower. where does all the ***** go then?

double standards.

for the record, I doubt piss could be doing anymore damage than the chemicals in soap mixed in with the filth on your body. clean your shower often?

pissing on your feet will help to limit tinea, sure. but ureic acid will also turn the skin on your feet to leather.

my excuse is that they were the only size 14s I could find among shops open relatively late on a friday night in portland. they've spited me ever since, mainly by having one of the buttons pop off. pos.
even nike town had like five pairs across the whole store. serious disappointment.
