Shrove Tuesday - Pancake Day!!

Post by Lephrenic »

You know, there's nothing better than when a Christian holiday loses all its original significance and becomes a gluttony fest for the hoi polloi. While not giving a rat's arse about the fasting of Lent, I am looking forward to Shrove Tuesday, better known as:

PANCAKE DAY! :D

So whether you have a favourite pancake joint or you prefer to flip your own batch, I encourage you all to join me in spirit (and syrup) and give praise to the mighty flapjack.

And if anyone wishes to join me in person I'll be at Fraus - Crepes & Chocolat, 345 Victoria St, Nth Melbourne around lunchtime or so. They do gourmet crepe fillings you wouldn't believe.

And if you haven't seen Austin Powers 3: Goldmember yet, for god's sakes see it now so you can make all the pancake and Frau quotes this Tuesday.

I think that it's all an evil plan by L. Ron Hubbard to get more converts. Image
