Anyone got an old but still working two-channel mixer they can give/lend/sell for very little to me? Need something as a stopgap until my housie gets his mixer fixed.

Cross-fader would be nice. The one I've got has sort of got channel faders.

I'm selling my Conga set because I haven't played them in over 2 years!

Purchased in 2006 from Revolver Drums in Prahran. I played them on and off for a few months then put them in storage, where they've been ever since. As you would expect, they are in SUPERB condition.

http://meinlpercussion.com/products/mei ... 112congas/

Color is stained/natural with black hardware:

Image

I paid $799, and am selling them for $500
Obviously its pick-up only (Prahran) as they are too massive to post. Send me an PM if you're interested!

--------------------

Heres the info from the manufacturer:

The 10” & 11“ pair is the perfect set of congas to get you started. The compact size is easy for young players to handle, light to carry and has a full, rich sound. You can develop a full foundation of conga techniques and rhythms with these student-friendly drums.

Size: 10” & 11” Conga Set, 28”tall

Material: Rubber Wood (Hevea brasiliensis Muell.-Arg.)

Features
Hand selected buffalo heads
8 mm strong tuning lugs
Original MEINL style tuning brackets
2 mm rounded rims
Black powder coated hardware

Includes
Height adjustable basket stands with quick set up system
Tuning key

Define 'average working order'.

If they work ie. do the things they're meant to, I'm keen as mustardo, hombre.

Average working order - close to 10 years old, have not been serviced in a few years. All buttons, effects work just fine. Sound quality is fine. One of the decks does not play all burnt discs, which i would say is due to lack of servicing, can probably be rectified if you could be fuked.

Pay what they are worth.
