Despite Spiesy barracking for the Tigers, he's not as silly as you'd think Scotty.

Me on the otherhand, i'll blantently back my own team against your mob, Hawks vs Blues when they play, and i'll put a slab on it!

Let's do that Alistair.

Slab it is - Carlton Vs Hawks.

We only play you once in Round 22.

is that odd?

RE Hawks vs Cats yep down for sure, Kronz will only be able to get a couple in though, im hoping to have quite a few there.

Jeez round 22 eh, thats ages away! we could be decimated by injury by then, better call off the bet...for now.

so....

I was crapping my pants in the third quarter.

Tigers have come a long way since round 1 last year.

Very happy to have footy back

also very happy to have Juddy, Murph, Eddie Betts, Armfield, Jack Riewoldt, Conca (very good first game) Jake Batchelor (also a good first game) in my super coach team.

^ was good to finally see a contest in the first game of the season. You guys should have smashed us in the first half, if you'd had your accurate kicking boots on. Still, was good to see some fight in the Tigers - and good to see all the recruits do well.

My SC boys - Cotchin, Murphy, Gibbs, Duigan all played well. Astbury - played okay, a little under par.

Have the Tigers improved or has the blue baggers gone backwards????

I kid I kid, Tigers definitly on the rise, which is good to see! will be happy to finally see some success for all the loyal Tigers supporters, so long as they dont turn feral like most of the Geelong supporters who without a premiership for so long were humble then they finally get some success and expected to win and when they didn't ('08) start with the excuses.

Anywho, happy with my 4 players who played last night Gibbs 138, Delids 92, Conca 61 and Duigan 59.
No wthe decision, i had Gibbs as vice captain, so if i put my captain on a gold coast player on the field and use the emergency to cover them, i will get 276 for Gibbs (as no captain playing) or will Dane Swan score more than 138????

Some pretty full on injuries this weekend gone.

Lecras groin looked horrible, brown's face was rotten and the gee long player whose name escapes me also looked rough as.

What do people think about the new concussion rule? Losing Waite on Thursday night showed we missed having the extra target through the third quarter.

BTW - how good is Suoercoach!

Given that you haven't scored under 2K for the season and I have about once.

I'll pass.

you also haven't been beaten.

snap - you've got my measure by a long shot Al.

Carlton Vs Hawks though - I'll put a slab on that.

You're doing alright Liz, it's your first year! and with the byes and the subs etc it a tricky first year to start out in.
Next year will be much easier for you, especially since there will be no byes to consider and hopefully they will get rid of the sub too!

thanks Al, but i played dream team last year so i should be better this year. I am not concentrating on things like byes and subs i must admit. i only spend a few minutes a week updating my team, not really spending a lot on what is going on, so i guess my scores reflect that

Maybe, it's in round 22 though, long way off, the way we are going it will be Carlton vs Box Hill! Ask me again the week leading up to the game. If you can be in town for it, Eric, your good self and myself should go to game live, should be a cracker!

this is gripe worthy but best suited to football.

Blues where beaten by better opposition on the day - good show from WC and how was that grab from Nic Nat!

I screwed my supercoach (1600 points - Bah), lost our Saturday seniors game to the second bottom team, had to endure watching Collingwood win on Saturday night (albeit from a corporate box with food & booze with limo there and back - so not too bad) then missed watching the Carlton Vs WC Game - running a media blackout to watch it recorded later that night until my dad who was at the game let slip that he'd had a terrible day giving away the result.

At least my under 14 team won on Sunday convincingly.

Go Blue

I had a really vivid dream last night that the Hawks beat Collingwood by 5 goals this Sunday, a premonition? perhaps.... but the fact that in my dream Buddy 'dunked' the ball at the end kinda killed any hope of accuracy.
