the main building at Monash has been evaculate.

apparently it wobbles in strong winds. fucking cyclonic out here. scurry almost. i nearly got blown over!

no 2pm class for me though. :D

Yeah we have shut a number of sites down - esp in light of the fatality this am in Dandenong... some of our subbies where out there, not pretty

I have had to thread a box between the front door handles to keeo it shut as the wind was sucking the door open to then change it's mind and blow is shut trying to break all the glass at the same time....

yeah - we had window cleaners coming today to clean the high windows at our house on ladders, then the flyscreen people coming to fit the new screens. both cancelled. not a good idea being up on a ladder today - especially as our place is right on top of ruckers hill - so get's massive winds hitting it.

Ten intersections without traffic lights on the way home.. was really dangerous.. I saw one big car crash.
It took me twice as long as normal to get home.
