..actually died while they were filming that incredibly sad scene where "Artax" drowns. This scene made me cry as a kid, and now it's even sadder.

We all witnessed the real death of the horse.

"When the scene of the swamps of sadness was being shot and the horse was supposed to "sink", he really did. The platform lifts failed and the horse died. "atreyu" was so upset he couldn't do anything for two weeks. That was the only bad event in the production of the movie, I believe."

So i have been getting back into the 80s of late.

Have found myself at a few 80s nights, been watching some old movies (Who remembers flight of the Navigator?), and fuck i have even made a CD full of 80s trash.

just though i would share that and bump a fucking old thread

lol Flight of The Navigator was teh awesome. I still argue that the flight control console in flight of the navigator was the precursor to the Pioneer CDJ.

I think part of me will always be stuck in the 80s... Sneakers, Hip Hop, footless tights, molly ringwald and mullets... all my favourite things!
