re Healsville santuary Platypus breeding scheme
"Ten years later in 1999 this elusive feat, breeding platypus in captivity was achieved with the emergence of twins Yarra Yarra and Barak.
Prior to 1999, David Fleay was the first person to have ever bred platypus in captivity. This happened fifty-five years earlier at Healesville Sanctuary, in 1944, with the emergence of Corrie who made world news on the cover of the New York Times.

A baby platypus has been sighted by a guide at Mylor’s Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary – an extremely rare and exciting occurrence. Warrawong is home to the world's leading Platypus breeding and research program and is the only place in the world to repeatedly breed Platypus in captivity
So much werk to do. Started at 6am. Still cranking it out now.
Needs more QT with BF.
I wanted to be a hero. I wanted to be the center of attention. I wanted the glory, I wanted the fame. I wanted the pretty girls to come up and say, "Hi, I see that you're good at Centipede."
because he closed the doors in my face and i asked him to open them so i could get off...
That was all, then he just yelled at me... He said i should have hurried the Fuck up and get off! I cannot help that i could not get through all the people he crammed on teh tram....
I have been yelled at and hung up on and called a liar today... berry berry bad day...
I remember a particularly bad day, and at some point i read my horoscope which actually said not to get out of bed that day. Information which would have been useful 24 hours prior. Hope your day gets better!
I didn't get the tram number and it was just befor 8am so i was a little shocked about it all really...
glad for walks this eve, to burn this tension away!
BS - yeah i am usually OK with it, but i have been tender since this am on teh tram.....
not a fan of being called a liar tho... THAT upset me.... I cannot help if the person you want to speak to has left the building since you last called....
It's s funny how we take on other people's shit and feel responsible for it. You know you weren't lying, that person is just sore they didn't get a shag this morning
good arvo. wish i had a shag this morning.
May not so tense now.
Apparently when i applied for the job i indicated that i was capable of doing 100 things at once.

The year before last there was a big storm in Melb, and the power cord connecting our house to our neighbours, which was connected to the power pole snapped. We went through a big drama with AGL and Citipower trying to get our power turned back on, and the last straw was the call centre manager telling my partner that he was a liar.
As soon as the power problem was all fixed (over 9 calls to call centre, 3 days with no power, 2 visits by electricians, Citipower electricians apparently visiting us at 2am in the morning but never knocking on the door?!) I switched energy companies. AGL were rude and hopeless.
Just because I rock, doesn't mean I'm made of stone.

Lucky we had gas so we could cook in daylight and have hot showers, but I got over the romantic backgammon by candlelight really quickly when all our neighbours still had power We were having to go drink at La Porchetta just to have some electric light instead of sitting in the dark for 3 nights.
