I dont believe that for a second, but t-bones are too expensive for me to buy one and disprove your theory! I'd rather BBQ it and eat it.

hmmm, from Zoos Victoria website

re Healsville santuary Platypus breeding scheme

"Ten years later in 1999 this elusive feat, breeding platypus in captivity was achieved with the emergence of twins Yarra Yarra and Barak.

Prior to 1999, David Fleay was the first person to have ever bred platypus in captivity. This happened fifty-five years earlier at Healesville Sanctuary, in 1944, with the emergence of Corrie who made world news on the cover of the New York Times.

Im guessing you worked here:

A baby platypus has been sighted by a guide at Mylor’s Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary – an extremely rare and exciting occurrence. Warrawong is home to the world's leading Platypus breeding and research program and is the only place in the world to repeatedly breed Platypus in captivity

Sounds like he was wearing his grouchy pants.

I remember a particularly bad day, and at some point i read my horoscope which actually said not to get out of bed that day. Information which would have been useful 24 hours prior. Hope your day gets better!

The year before last there was a big storm in Melb, and the power cord connecting our house to our neighbours, which was connected to the power pole snapped. We went through a big drama with AGL and Citipower trying to get our power turned back on, and the last straw was the call centre manager telling my partner that he was a liar.

As soon as the power problem was all fixed (over 9 calls to call centre, 3 days with no power, 2 visits by electricians, Citipower electricians apparently visiting us at 2am in the morning but never knocking on the door?!) I switched energy companies. AGL were rude and hopeless.

Lucky we had gas so we could cook in daylight and have hot showers, but I got over the romantic backgammon by candlelight really quickly when all our neighbours still had power :( We were having to go drink at La Porchetta just to have some electric light instead of sitting in the dark for 3 nights.
