I got the feeling this morning, just a hint, and I will most likely be proved wrong, but then again I can't be wrong about me feelings, that we may have just, and remember, this is just my feeling of it, be through the worst of the long cold nights. The days are getting longer, the sun is getting higher, shinning a different light on the morning dew. It seems that the darkness is retreating and Spring may just be getting ready to shine on through.

I feel like pie.

Devo - yes i think shortest day is 22nd June, so def. get longer. But the light has changed too. It isn't grey anymore. There is shimmy shimmy shake about the way it all looks, even through the haze.

Ant/butterfly symbiotic interactions are so cool. My head is imploding with the insaneness of it all. Camponotus ants digging chambers at the base of the species of tree that the mistletoe that the butterfly larvae feed on, and then attending the butterflies. The butterfly larvae secrete sugar from a special gland and the adult ants can live off this secretion. Butterflies that are unattended have a 30-50% rate of mortality, usually from parasitic wasps… butterflies pupate in the chamber, but become agitated in the presence of ants when they have emerged, and one bite from an ant can kill a butterfly. Then there are all of these insane lekking behaviours… these butterflies flock at the top of hills, and the male that has the best spot (the top of the top of the hill) gets the laydeez… but windfarms are fucking that up :tard:
