Yep. One of the girls at my work lives directly across the road from that Hotel. She said it was pretty full on. A few people got pretty hurt, etc.

Its funny how many places claim that, like Danny's on St Georges Rd in Nth Fitz, they have that claim on the front of the shop. Pretty good chow too.

Me either, and I'm not going to. For starters their drinks are so expensive. Except for the freshly squeezed juices most of the drinks are made with Just Juice bottled fruit juice/fruit concentrates and the sorbet/yoghurt/ice cream are loaded with sugar. They're not really that healty.

spot on. the whole point of having *freshly squeezed* juice is that it's *freshly squeezed*.

vitamins in juice have the lifespan of a tub of cream left out in 40º sunshine.

should we start a diversion of the "best hamburger" thread?

but Oggie's milk bar in Windsor is always going to be my hamburger place of choice.

feeling fruity are good though...

it is all fresh fruit - i've see them putting it into the machine!

a regular size (which is enough for me) is $4.75 but we've got a deal with them so that everyone at my work got a 30% off card ;)
so it's $3.30 which i reckon isn't too expensive.... :)

i miss my little Fruit Juice shop on Smith St :(:(:(

Every saturday I'd have a big cup of juice for $2.50 with all fresh fruit, and some ginger. YUMM. no concentrate, no fancy marketing, just the real deal dispensed from a teeny tiny shop with a huge queue on the footpath. 8)

Yeah, we always knew the deathtoll was going to rise though - it will still be rising, and possibly never stop ... there will always be people unaccounted for :(

The whole JJJ radio thing ... I just like how it'd made people think. I don't necessarily agree with it, just about everyone is doing their because they feel empathy towards the people caught in the disaster, but I can also see how it is a response to the types of shows that have been on TV ("Australia remembers ... how we helped" etc., not sure what channel it was on recently). It can be spindoctored both ways.

I am passing this on to you because it definitely worked for me and we all could use more calm in our lives.

By following the simple advice I heard on a Dr. Phil show, I have finally found inner peace. Dr. Phil proclaims, "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you've started."

I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished.

So, before leaving this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's, a bottle of Kahlua, a package of Oreos, a pint of Ben & Jerry's, the remainder of the Valium prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, and a box of chocolates.

You have NO idea of how freaking good I feel!!!

Please pass this on to those you feel are in need of inner peace.

man selling left nut to buy a tractor.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 43555&rd=1

I know, I know...Silly, but we all have to make sacrifices as we get older. Myself, this is my sacrifice. I need a tractor bad to keep up with my land. I have a hundred acres of beautiful country here in central Texas. But, it won't stay beautiful for long if I don't start keeping up with it. I need t oshred regularly and dig some post holes to build new fence around pretty much all of the hundred acres. And I've talked this auction over with my wife and she said it was okay with her since she didn't think she was going to need my left nut, and I'm pretty sure I won't need it anymore. But, just in case I'll be keeping the one on the right. You never know. I've decided since I'm not getting any younger, and my wild and wooly days are gone and I've settled down with a wife and lots of kids and a nice piece of Texas property, that I'd just as soon have a tractor to work the land rather than my left nut. Really, that's all I need. I've got a decent vehicle, and my house has been totally redone due to the fire, and I've got a nice job. I make decent money, but I'm not rich. And if you've priced tractors lately, they're not cheap. Not for a good one anyhow. So, in conclusion, just so that there's no confusion, you'll be bidding on my left nut, and getting it. Not the right one, but only the left one. This is not a joke, and it is for real. You will be getting my left nut shown in the pic. I'm even going to send it to you in a nice wooden box so that you may display my left nut to any and all who adorn your home. Heck, you can tell all your friends that you own a Texan's left nut and you have it displayed in a decorative box in your home! How cool would that be?! I've pictured both the right and left, so that you will see that it's not deformed, they are both relatively the same size and shape. Good Luck and the shipping on this item is going to be free. If, for some strange and I do mean strange, reason this auction gets over say 20,000 dollars, I will donate half (10,000.00 dollars to Tsunami aid or any other non-profit organization or charity of the winning bidder's choice. I will even send the money in the winning bidder's name instead of mine. Just an update here. Since I listed this item a few hours ago, I've been looking on the net for somewhere to send the extra money(in case this does go relatively high as stated beforehand). And I've got a good one that is very deserving of the funds. It will be going to a very well known(Television,Radio, magazines, newspapers, etc.) children's hospital. I've printed out the info and go the address and phone numbers of how and where to send the funds. Just so you know that I am looking, but I'm looking for ways to spend the extra money, not mine. But, again, it's totally up to the winning bidder as to who gets the extra funds. You know, if some of these people on ebay weren't greedy, then wh yare they starting the silliest things off at several or even hundreds of thousands of dollars? I've started my auction off at 149.99 with NO RESERVE!! Yea, I'm real greedy. I'll tell you what, if I get my tractor with help from a good bidder, I'll even let you come out to my place and go fishing with me here in the country. Guaranteed to catch some fish. I work at a place that sells tractors and If I intend to get one, I'm gonna need to get around5000.00 for a small utility tractor with a shredder to go with it. If I get that from this auction, I'll even throw in a car with the deal. Of course it will more than likely not run, and more than likely look in general like a metal turd with tires. So, how can you beat a deal like that? Help out a good old boy, get his left nut, get to go fishing with the man with one nut, and get a free car(albeit a beater with a heater, and it may not even have a heater) Contact me for details of the car you'll be getting...I have a few here. I'll tell you what, If I had a dollar for every person who has even looked at this auction, I'd have enough money to get the tractor and send off the donation of ten grand with money to spare!!! Incredible. For as many people as there are interested in my left nut, I would think some of them would be bidding on it!? But, I'm glad that there is interest in my left nut and I'm happy for that. Many Thanks, And Good Luck bidding on my left nut!
