Does anyone else think that John Safran isnt funny?

Post by Scholtzy »

Has anyone seen his shows on sbs?? the are.....er lame. The whole time I was waiting for a punchline...except it never happened and if it did, it was far from funny. It was actually frustrating to watch, especially him ranting on about the music industry errghh  . He really does seem self obsessed as well..and really believes that he is a comedic genious.....WANKER !!

Please share your thoughts on this matter...

and yes,...I know this thread is random.

I think he is pretty darn funny, but can come off pretty arrogant at times, but still he is good for a laugh. :)

I haven't seen the Ray Martin expose. Anyone got a clip of it?

While I think of it, I'd also ove to see Chopper Read on Elle McFeast's show. Apparantly that was funny as fark.

Great moments in Aussie TV.

a great ad for CUB, that's for sure! I'm sure Libby Gorr rethought the accessible cleavage look for on-air interviews after that too.

My favourite was the 'Angry Dwarf' fake pill episode with Steve Price; incredibly funny.

The odd (well one of them) things about John Safran is that outside his work he's quiet and exceedingly polite, and hates to offend anyone.

Music Jamboree is good too but not as consistently funny.

Saw him out one time too... didn't ask for his autograph though :?

The man's a complete genius. Always loved him, especially when he was on the Breakfasters. I don't think i've listened to radio since he left.

By far the greatest thing to hit Australian airwaves (both TV and radio) in a long time.

Only really saw Vs God, and loved all of it, the man is great, that exocism??? WTF??? I saw him on Brunny st when I was driving, I wanted to ask him if it was real, so full on. A when he was in India and he asked the Fakar what the meaning of life was, and after waiting hours for an answer, the fakar just left without answering his question... hahaha
