Melbourne Beats

We are going over to Melbourne from the 20th to the 24th of July to see the most mighty of mighty bands, the Eels play and are in need of some assistance when it comes to other fancy things around Melbourne town.

Coming from the humble city of Perth we don't really know much about Melbourne so we were wondering if anyone could recomend any good indie clubs in the city area and also suggest any other bands we should go see.

Also, does anyone know if the Whiskey Go Go's are playing around that time?
