Contacting Red Cross

On Jan 14, 2005 the Melbourne Beats crew along with some 700+ people raised around $17,000 for the Asia Quake & Tsunami appeal. This forum is an archive of the organisational discussion for the event.

Contacting Red Cross

Post by DBoy »

I spoke to the Red Cross, we can not use the logo at all, however we can specify (as you have done) that the money is going to them...

WE may be issued with donation tins etc, I am speaking to the Victorian Appeals manager this afternoon---

no one else is doing this as well? just to make sure we are not doubling up?

Dboy- i did call this morning to check that we can put their name on the flyer, but I have arranged nothing else. I'll leave that you, sounds like you have it under control! Thanks.

has anything further happened with the donation tins? was thinking they might be good to sit on the bar for any change from drink purchases. Bar staff may not be too impressed that they're missing out on tips...but it's all in the name of charity.
